RiderLink® is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it to be straightforward — if anything is unclear, reach out and we'll explain it plainly.
Overview
RiderLink® is a free social platform for motorcyclists, operated by Naber Interactive, LLC ("RiderLink," "we," "us," or "our"), a Pennsylvania limited liability company. We provide a website at www.rider.link and a mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play (collectively, the "Service").
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Service. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Our Service is offered to users in the United States only. We do not knowingly direct the Service to or solicit users outside the United States.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Account information — your name, email address, and a password you create. If you sign up using Apple, Google, or Facebook, we receive basic profile information from those services in lieu of a password.
- Profile information — optional details you add to personalize your profile, such as a profile image, riding preferences, or location text.
- Content you share — posts, event listings, comments, ride details, and other content you choose to share publicly or with other riders.
- Messages — content you send through our in-app messaging. We store this only to deliver it and maintain conversation history; we do not analyze or share the contents of your private messages.
- Communications with us — when you contact us for support, we retain a record of that correspondence.
Information Collected Automatically
- Location data — with your permission, we collect your device's location to power features like the Live Rider Map and Active Nearby alerts. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.
- Device and log information — device type, operating system and version, app version, IP address, crash diagnostics, and similar technical data.
- Usage data — basic information about how you interact with the Service to help us understand what's working.
Information from Third-Party Sign-In
If you sign in using Apple, Google, or Facebook, those providers share certain information with us as authorized by you — typically your name, email, and a unique identifier. We do not receive your password from any third-party login provider.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including account creation and authentication;
- Power location-based features such as nearby riders, active friends, and local events;
- Deliver messages, notifications, and alerts between users;
- Personalize your experience and surface relevant content, riders, and events;
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the Service over time;
- Communicate with you about service updates, security matters, and customer support;
- Enforce our Terms of Use and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not serve third-party advertising in the Service, and we do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.
How We Share Information
With Other Users
Information you choose to make public — such as your profile, posts, public events, and active map status — is visible to other RiderLink® users in accordance with the privacy controls available within the Service.
